As the situation with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues to rapidly escalate in Australia and around the world, we want to update customers and stakeholders on the measures Fleetcare has enacted, and the high priority we are giving business continuity throughout this period.
Our foremost concern continues to be preserving the health and wellbeing of our people and our customers during this period. We also recognise the importance of our role as a specialist provider of fleet and leasing services, and the required continuation of this essential support for our customers.
Fleetcare is open for business and we’re here to help. Our 24/7 support services are fully operational for our vehicle fleet around Australia.
The Executive have met to review and implement our Business Continuity Plan to ensure it stands up to the challenges we may face as the Coronavirus escalates. We are aligned with the Australian Federal Government Department of Health resources for COVID-19 and will continue to monitor global activity, taking advice from relevant government agencies.
To ensure continuity of service delivery and mitigate risk to our key operational team, Fleetcare has enacted the following protocols:
- All Fleetcare sites have been locked down with only approved, critical face-to-face meetings taking place. Our team will happily provide alternative meeting access via Skype, GoToMeeting, Zoom or your preferred conferencing facility.
- We have implemented increased hygiene measures in line with advice from the Department of Health including sanitisation and social distancing to avoid infection and minimise spread.
- We are monitoring and restricting travel where appropriate.
- We have enacted a provision and access for staff to work securely and remotely from anywhere with internet connectivity.
If you have vehicles in your fleet that are used by multiple drivers and passengers, we have prepared this Vehicle Disinfection Advice outlining various hygiene protocols that can be adopted, in line with your existing protocols and guidelines.
We are in constant contact with our supply chain and note that there is a high probability of supply constraints for new vehicles. Fuel security is high and our tyre and parts manufacturers are confident in their continuity of supply. We will continue to assess the situation and update you as appropriate.
We are confident that our teams, processes and technology are resilient enough to continue to support your business while we also prioritise protecting the health and wellbeing of our people. More information can be found on our website at www.fleetcare.com.au.
Our thoughts are with you and your families during this time and we hope you are safe and well. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your Account Manager.
Kind regards,
Nigel Malcolm
Chief Executive Officer
