The arrangement is cost-neutral, and we take care of the entire process. If an employee leaves the business, the novated lease remains their responsibility - not yours.

Your role is minimal: simply process the agreed payroll deductions and, if required, return any surplus funds through payroll if the lease ends or the employee departs. There is a minor annual FBT reporting obligation, but Fleetcare supplies all the necessary reports and information to make this process simple.

If an employee leaves your organisation, the novated lease moves with them. They can either continue making the payments themselves or transfer the lease to a new employer.
