Establishment of your novated lease
We will complete the establishment of your novated lease within 2 business days of settlement. We will contact your employer to begin deductions and will also issue you with a welcome email that will contain key information regarding your lease.
Frequently Asked Questions
When will I get my fuel cards?
Your fuel cards should be in your vehicle on delivery. On the odd occasion that we have not yet received your vehicle registration number prior to delivery the cards will be express posted directly to you.
To ensure your fuel cards are posted without delay, please complete the FBT odometer declaration as soon as possible.
What if my fuel cards don’t arrive in time? Will I be reimbursed?
Yes, just keep your fuel receipts and you will be able to claim for reimbursement when your online portal becomes active.
How do I access the Novated Portal?
At the start of next month you will receive an email confirming your online novated portal login details. If you do not receive this email, please visit http://www.fleetcare.com.au/NovatedPortal/default.aspx and select 'Request Password'. If you have trouble, please contact your account manager.
I’ve taken out my own insurance. How am I reimbursed for this?
If you have chosen to take out your own insurance, you will need to pay for this yourself directly and lodge a reimbursement via your online portal. Once sufficient funds become available in your novated account the reimbursement will be processed.

Please ensure you complete your odometer declaration with the start kilometres of your vehicle on delivery. If Fleetcare have sourced your vehicle you will also need to sign a delivery confirmation document with the dealer. Please ensure this document is returned to us so that we can finalise the establishment of your lease in a timely manner.
It is normal for your novated account to be in a deficit position for the first few months, this is due to up front fee’s needing to be paid at the beginning of your lease, please do not be concerned if your account is in a deficit balance for the first 3 – 6 months. Your account manager will complete a 6 month review of your account and will contact you if there are any issues.
Repairs and maintenance
Whether it is a routine service or an unscheduled repair, maintenance costs are included in the lease and discounted up-front. When your car needs work, you can visit any of our 10,000 authorised suppliers and we pay the bills.
When you hit a bump in the road, Fleetcare has got you covered. New for old replacement, car hire for accident or theft and Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) Insurance is included as standard with Lease Protection Insurance also available. We even manage all the paperwork on your behalf.
