Recalls & Defects
At Fleetcare we know recalls and defects are a hassle for everyone – but no-one can afford to neglect them. Whether a car is still in warranty or not, when a manufacturer announces a vehicle recall, it must be acted upon.
We explain to you in plain English the nature of the recall or defect, the urgency of the matter and what needs to happen to keep your fleet safe and roadworthy.
Fleetcare minimise the disruption to drivers by taking charge of the project. We schedule work around times convenient to your drivers, arranging temporary replacement vehicles if necessary. Fleetcare monitor the work and report to management on the outcome.

- Receive the notification
- Log it against the vehicle
- Notify the driver of the requirements of the recall and what they have to do
- Make sure the recall is corrected and if it isn’t we follow it up with the driver
- Advise management of active recalls with an incident report
