A week ago we blogged about the Hummer and why it seems Australians never really warmed up to the flashy SUV. We also performed a survey on some of our newsletter readers to see what everyone really thought about the Hummer. Going by the results it seems it wasn't the brash styling but rather the poor fuel consumption that was the root of the negative response.

After a March sales figure of 14 it seems the Hummer H3’s place on Australian roads is truly done & dusted. The doom was hanging heavy in the clouds with GM announcing earlier this year that Hummer would wind down production. But why did it never really take off in Australia?
